Erin Mulvehill @ Candela Project Gallery
Underwater: To Be Reborn
Exhibition: July 1 – 30, 2011
Reception: June 30, 6 pm
Mulvehill’s images show the artist’s longing for untouched beauty and harmony between human and nature. The cycle of images analyzes the circle of transience and rebirth and demonstrates-in all horror about the young women’s death- a strong feeling of hope – for an afterlife and the belief, that the destroyed living space in the Gulf of Mexico, which got contaminated by mineral oil last year, will be regenerated one day.
