The LAF Project Presents:
The Internally Displaced of Georgia
Exhibition: October 10 – 22, 2011 (Napa Gallery) October 10, 2011 – February 7, 2012 ([art]SPACE)
The Laughter and Forgetting (L.A.F.) Project documents life on the road to democracy in the former Soviet state of Georgia. Started in 2009, L.A.F set out to chronicle the post Communist era in Eastern Europe.
With a new focus on Georgia, L.A.F. aims to share the experience of a nation caught in transition as told by Georgian and international photographers. Through a Photoblog and live photography exhibits, we will gain their perspective of the current social and political conflicts within the country.
