Isabel Muñoz was born in Barcelona in 1951. Tango and Flamenco (1989) are considered the starting point for her unremitting search of sentiments and emotions of world groups and cultures in an attempt to capture the expressions of beauty of the human body. She offers a fragmented version of the world and the human body, forcing us to look at them a little better and to reflect on beauty and movement. She focuses her camera on dancers, wrestlers, warrior monks, bullfighters or deprived children with a strong sense of commitment.
