Heidi Specker: TERMINI
23 5 – 12 7 2014
Termini is the latest and most extensive group of works by Heidi Specker and was created during a one-year stay in Rome in 2010. In dealing with the Italian culture and their history Specker designed based deputy artistic positions her photographic work. In her art historical reference room, the artist chose the painter Giorgio de Chirico, the photographer and the architect Carlo Mollino and the medium of film for Michelangelo Antonioni. This results in Termini to entanglement of motives, whose origins are from different eras.
