Recognized as one of the most outstanding artists of his generation, the Chilean artist Rodrigo Arteaga (Santiago, 1988) presents Over stars and roots, a series of three installations, based on the aesthetic treatment of mixed sciences, in which the author tries to establish two fundamental notions of artistic production: knowledge and mystery. The first installation titled Astrografías, is made from astronomy books with black tempera surgery; the second, called Corpus Limes, and consists of an intervention biology and anatomy books with which disgruntled tenses as the art and science; and the third, called botanical Scopes, being composed of drawings, maps routes cut, plants and roots, which arise as an analogy between the routes of the body and the earth.
