Carolina Saquel, En Voz Alta
26 March – May 9th 2015
Between September 2011 and May 2012, covered on the idea of self-portrait and constant reading, Saquel Carolina artist photographed herself with some covers of books, journals, documents shows and exhibition catalogs, which were part of his reading at that time. “I made some of these images by the mere need to photograph. The photo shoot -rather than the photograph is here intended to capture, hold, or literally making, both of Miscellaneous as it should, the banal and the profound. It is an intention to capture air, intervals, the time elapsed between movement. Each image is like a ‘marker’ or ‘key image’ of these routes, a stretch of life, “explains the artist.
