Charlie Rubin: Intervention
April 25th – June 6th, 2015
With the rise of digital cameras and smart phones, beautiful photography has become common and ubiquitous. In order to instill value in his photography, Rubin started to distort his photography through bringing in elements of painting, sculpture and collage. The result is a collection of fantastical images that capture the imagination and project an unsettling sense of beauty.
