Eric Antoine: Frénésie du silence

With this new series Frénésie du silence, Eric Antoine provides the viewer with a close observation of the small joys and anguishes of being human. Using dramatized anecdotes, these images draw upon the artist’s memories. In these often fragmentary and allegorical photographs, the treatment of the subject makes no distinction between bodies, nature and the trivial objects of everyday life. They recur like so many bodies/objects, like an intimate collection of memento mori.
