Dave Dineen outside the now derelict house in Ballyphehane, Cork, where he grew up and where he suffered neglect and physical and sexual violence by his mother and brother. He founded the group Lamh Healing Foundation in Cork to help others who have had difficult childhood experiences.

In Plain Sight is a powerful and moving exhibition about the legacy of child abuse in Ireland. Made in collaboration with survivors, it is an important and timely challenge to the silence that still surrounds the issue.
