Simone Kappeler: Photographs
22.09-22.11.2015
Hasselblad, Leica, Diana, Brownie, Polaroid, disposable camera or expired films, Simone Kappeler, born in 1952, explores all types of photographic techniques since 1970. His work, constantly renewed, reveals the oddly alien world around us. In an experimental and poetic approach addresses the photographer as close the distance. She photographs her family makeover colors alpine scenery with a film sensitive to infrared or sets the fragile beauty of the flowers under his neighbor’s medical x-ray machine. For this third exhibition at the Belle Juliette, Esther Woerdehoff present a selection works of this artist.
At the Hotel La Belle Juliette, 92 rue du Cherche Midi, 75006 Paris
