Paradise Wavering is a photographic stream of consciousness that explores the connections between time and memory. Hargrave immerses the viewer in an environment of lush flora, fauna, seascapes, prairies, deep woods, and tropical rainforests that reveal Nature’s inherent Dichotomy: of being at once vulnerable and an unrelenting force; sheer power and fragility. Hargrave delves into this organic world with concerns for its very survival. She seeks beauty and the sublime, while also alluding to an uncertain future of environmental angst.
