How does political power manifest itself visually and how much of its appearance is illusion, how much truth? When united, are power and politics dirty words, forces for good, or just the reality of life with a social structure? Juror Barbara Tannenbaum, Curator of Photography at the Cleveland Museum of Art, looked at hundreds of excellent submissions before deciding on a final 30 for this compelling and timely exhibition.
