Vincent Delerm: En attendant
October 14 to November 7
“The time of confinement Vincent Delerm has neither written nor sung. Photography, an obsession that has pursued him for more than 20 years, has distracted him. Day after day, the snapshot has become his journal. Originally published on Instagram, and today published in an eponymous book edited by Polka, the series “Home”, tells the fifty-five days of a particular retreat, a kind of amused puzzle in the setting of his life. Each image is accompanied by a few words and an original soundtrack, featuring Nick Drake, the (fantasized) seaside holidays by Michel Jonasz, James Taylor or even George Delerue’s themes for the New Wave.”
