“Opening April 27, 2022 at the Metro Community Health Center in the Bronx, New York, the exhibition features 16 evocative photographs highlighting the challenges and communities of people receiving their rehabilitation services during COVID.
Each participant is a member of the ‘Progressive Visions Photo Club,’ started in 1997 to help build independence and skills by introducing people with disabilities to photography. Over the years, photographers have had their work exhibited in galleries throughout New York City and Long Island, and were featured on NY1 in multiple segments. The program now encompasses groups throughout the Bronx at CP Unlimited day sites.”
