Clément Chapillon:Les Rochers Fauves
Until June 25, 2022
“Clément Chapillon questions the notion of geographical and mental isolation through an island space in the Aegean Sea. He discovered the Greek island of Amorgos about fifteen years ago, which over time has become a necessity and an obsession. A remote island, one of the poorest and least densely populated in all of Greece, but also one of the most fascinating for its geography and traditions still intact. By capturing the intimacy of the islanders, by birth or adoption, the topography and the vernacular of the island, he undertook in 2018 a substantive documentary work which ended 2 years later.”
