Philip Rolla: where I came from
21.05 – 30.10.2022
Opening Saturday 21 May from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM
“A particular exhibition born from a long reflection by Philip Rolla, on himself and his past. These years, marked by illness and confinement, have led Philip to review those papers kept in drawers, which we all accumulate during our lives. Among many memories and surprises, Rolla found some negatives dating back to 1972, shots of his California, of the places where he spent his childhood and to which many memories are linked. Places that already in 1972 had changed, mostly worn out by time and neglect but that contained, for him, an imperishable soul that he wanted to immortalize and remember…
This time Philip Rolla does not show a part of his collection, but a part of his life.”
