Suzanne Camp Crosby: The Art of Life
June 3, 2022 through September 25, 2022
“This exhibition from the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts permanent collection presents a tribute to commemorate the life and work of beloved Tampa Bay artist and art professor Suzanne Camp Crosby (1948–2020).
Camp Crosby’s highly acclaimed career captures the experimentally expressive yet often profoundly personal visual layers that surround us from day to day. As a teacher at multiple universities, her work has helped bring artistic literacy to numerous generations. While her professional art career helped us question the reality of our sight while simultaneously validating photography as a tool for visual metaphor.”
