Sunshady Days: A 50 year Retrospective of Bumbershoot
November 9 – December 7, 2023
Artist reception: Thursday, November 9th from 6-8pm
“This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Bumbershoot music and arts festival. It is an extraordinary weekend that brings together community through creative collaborations. As part of that, Photographic Center Northwest partnered with Bumbershoot and A/NT Gallery to present a two-day crowd-sourced exhibition of 50 years of photographs through the lens of the audience. From bands backstage to children with balloons to dancing penguins, the exhibition embraces five decades of art, music, fashion and community from our region. The artworks represent many different perspectives—from professionals on assignment to concert-goers documenting their families. ”
