“The project “Future Perspectives” highlights the territorial conflict between the urban development machine and the needs of a large municipal shelter, hosting several thousand animals.
In a series of photographs Veronika poses several questions about domesticated animals and their well-being.
She displays three sides of the story: a clear structure in the photographs of urban development is replaced by the chaos of dog days and mixed with the volunteers’ routine.
Many images were taken from the animals’ perspective, conveying their states.”
