D. J. Hinman: Japan Is Calling
April 16-21, 2024
“This exhibit features black-and-white film photographs from the backyards of Japan. D. J. Hinman spent several years wandering through the 47 prefectures of Japan, mostly by local train, to explore the diversity of the country. Collectively, the photographs in this exhibit reveal that, although Japan is a small country geographically, the local cultures in the prefectures are remarkably diverse.”
