“Street Level Photoworks are pleased to present, REBELS & RENEGADES, a two-part exhibition featuring two legendary women photographers Jill Furmanovsky and Sheila Rock, who captured the essence of punk and the post-punk music culture that defined the era and influenced acts into the 90s. Both worked independently as well as for music magazines – Sounds, NME, Melody Maker, and Record Mirror. Their striking covers and images reflecting 80s style for The Face magazine, marked the visual culture of that decade.”
