“Images from Greece and abroad, familiar but also unknown places, will continue to travel us for a little while longer, through the lens of the artists and their own perspective. Many times, when looking at the images a photographer has taken, we find that while the place depicted is familiar to us, it has more charm, is more captivating than what we remember. Therein lies the different look of the artist. It’s the details that we never noticed or maybe the moment, that make the difference. The light, the atmosphere, a combination of things that gives a different and very interesting result. Some other times through travel photography we are in places we have never been, we see customs unknown to us, habits similar or completely different from ours, we learn new, interesting things and gain a more complete view of the world around us.”
