Magic Realism: AI Photography, an exhibition exploring AI photography, curated by Member William Harper. Magical Realism is a term associated with a literary convention in which the real world is blended with the supernatural. The fundamental trust conferred upon the photographic image is that it represents the real. Using systems of image generation, the artists in this show invoke photographic convention to take advantage of this trust, allowing the viewer to suspend their disbelief and directly experience the uncanny.
