This project is a cross-country collaboration between Maureen Bond and Patrick Donahue. Strangers, we connected by sharing photos, lamenting the heat, and being patient. We learned each other's language, or at least parts, and made photographs that try to speak with one another.

Maureen Bond is an American fine art photographer living in Los Angels, CA. Maureen has been working in education for over 20 years. She enjoys both film & digital with a love for plastic toy cameras, the historical processes along with lensless pinhole and solargraphy.

Patrick Donahue is a Connecticut-based artist who uses photography as an excuse to stare at life. He believes in the broadest possible definition of what a photograph can be.
