Francesco Mariani & Stawb Bose Sarkar

The chosen theme for the project is “Change”.
Both of us recently moved to a different, so it seemed natural to document all the changes in our life through this project. The images are about what we see every day in front of our eyes, the different panoramas and landscapes. It is also a project with a lot of contrasts, since the two places are so different (a metropolis in India and a small village in the Apennines mountains in Italy). People and vibrant colours on one side, calm and silence on the other. A diversity that adds a particular character to the project, and that contributes to its meaning. We can see people sleeping in parks, landscapes, objects, cultural differences, family, the absence of family. It is a description of being away from home, and at the same time a tale about coming back home but feeling lost. A document of change and the passage of time in our life.
